Am presently 4 weeks without Being Paid for Services Rendered as a Contractor Who's Check was sent out on December the 15th,,, Have been patient with the Christmas an holiday Rush ,,, As of 12/26/2023 still No check in the Mail and Atrias doesn't answer at the Accounts Payable Number,,,with 3 Voicmails left ,,, Would like to see these people do without $ 2,000.00 of their paycheck over Christmas,,!!! Go to the attorney general otherwise nothing will get done. Also go to Atria home office and let them know. Find the email for everyone at the top and let them know the run around you are getting.

Compliment to the staff

I would like to express my appreciation to the people at the Atria Carrollton facility. They were beyond compare in the care and personal attention shown to my mother.

During her last few days as a resident, the whole staff was tender and compassionate in the attention given as we watched my mother pass to the next life. From the front desk greeting us with compassion to the medicine deliver staff right on to the housekeeping staff, we felt as if they were a part of our family and sharing in our grief.

They truly helped watch over her as if she was their mother. Thank you hardly seems enough for the kindness and care we all received.

Complaint about facility

My mother (92), Betty Tirmenstein, has been living at Creekside Terrace in Winston-Salem, NC for 9 years. During the early days there, the facility was well-managed, the food palatable, the staff upbeat and positive.

Now, the facility staff are more often than not in attendance. The food quality and quantity has diminished greatly. One of the most disturbing aspects about this facility is there is only one elevator to serve 75-100 residents on a daily basis. The elevator is often out of service from an hour to three or four hours at a time.

The incidence of the broken elevator is becoming a daily occurrence which is just unacceptable for all seniors who depend on it for getting to the dining room, going to doctor appointments or just getting outside for a breath of fresh air. This is a critical situation and one that must be addressed.

The manager says her hands are tied to do anything as this is a corporate matter. Please let me know how you plan to address this dire situation.

Very disappointed

The RSD in Rancho Mirage must have a secret against someone in a higher place, as she is rude, hostile, demeaning, condescending, and confrontational with the residents Several employees, residents and family members have complained quit or move and she still continues her tirade. Not to mention the lies, forgery, and missed medications. Don't go here, if you value your money, integrity, or love your elders!!

Staff throwing out my belongings

I am just being ignored

During a outbreak of bedbugs and roaches several of my belongings were thrown in the garbage. I got very sick eating the food in dining room during said period. I am unable to get a piece of fish while staff carrying lots of food out of here. Extremely upsetting statements from the manager. Total lack of responsibility from management.

I’m mad!!!!

Over priced and sold on hopes and dreams. Do not ever use Atria.

Food was horrible, unit not cleaned in more than three weeks no clean towels or laundry of sheets. No sense of community. My mom went into the hospital and I didnt know until 6 hrs later. Never took my moms info for contact numbers.

All I heard from them in whining and complaining how they are short staffed. They need to be held accountable!

After being here for six months, I have had it!!! The local staff is very caring as is the chef, but they all blame upper management for ridiculous ultimata, like locking the already inadequate laundry and and trash room, at will, to "protect" us from "dangerous chemicals" (Clorox?).

All employees are required to do many jobs, so that the person who cleans your toilet is seen an hour later serving you lunch. YUCK. They have now turned down the air-conditioning in the lobby and hallways so that the staff are sweating bullets. Another Atria ultimatum, I suppose.

All of the food is cheap, frozen crap, covered in thick gravy or cream sauce to kill the taste. They clean your room every two weeks, but you have to pay about $200.00 a month extra to get your personal laundry done, because the laundry room door stays locked most of the time. Supper time is 5:00 PM. Nobody eats supper at 5:00 PM.

That's when normal folks are driving home from work, and planning to eat around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. Also, there is but one small elevator for the top two floors, so it's a battle of the wheelchairs and a lineup at 4:30PM, right after you've had lunch, to make it for afternoon tea, I mean supper. They charge you thousands to get in. Thousands to stay here.

Thousands to leave. Every few months the rent goes up 10%. They have one (1) maintenance man for three floors and hundreds of apartments and rooms. Even he says he needs at least three more.

And, they have to put in a requisition for a stinking light bulb.

You'd think they'd have crates of them on hand, but you have to wait a week. You are better off staying in your own home and having a provider come in to take care of you.

This place is not safe to live in.

I came to Curtis Creek a Holiday by Atria Senior Independent living facility about 6 weeks ago. I was promised a studio apartment with cleaning and linen services plus 3 meals a day.

This is not what I have received. I am paying more than I have paid anywhere else and am receiving less than I have had before. My apartment has not been cleaned but that isn't the worse. There are people here who haven't had their apartments or especially bathrooms cleaned in months.

We can't even get clean sheets or towels. The food choices are poor. The cooking is okay but the food is always cold. I have tried complalining to the supervisors but all that happens then is for them to either ignore me or try to intimidate me to stop complaining.

I was told that if I wanted decent food I should be paying Atria prices not Holiday prices. Well I am paying Atria prices. For example yesterday for supper they offered two choices. A turkey sandwich with Swiss or a turkey Cuban.

They seem to think I should be grateful that they are even feeding me at all. They never clean the dining room floor and I saw a private duty nurse serving food and vacuuming the filthy hall way floors. Usually we have to beg for creamer or butter. This place should be shut down.

However they are still wanted another 1875 extra for a move in fee. They have done nothing.

Serious concerns about the treatment I have experienced

Difficulty with the on-site manager by her directly lying to me and insulting me. According to other residents, The Bentley, used to be a happy place, where residents enteracted with each other.

I have been here a year, and NO RESIDENT, has ever had ANYTHING POSITIVE to say about the on-site manager!

ALL the other assistants, workers and servers are AWESOME!!

When the on-site manager is not at The Bentley, the atmosphere is wonderful and peaceful. Please send her back to Hawaii

I am looking for another place to live.

During my search, the management, residents and atmospheres, have been unbelievable different! I honestly couldnt believe how relaxed I have felt.

I was sold a Scam.

The only thing that is true about the so called activity calender is the various published eating activities which includes breakfast lunch and dinner. There are workers who have left and because they have not been replaced, I spend around 30+ hours waiting for the meals to be served!

I have tried and tried to speak with the ossasionaly attendant"on-site manager" but have been told lies and degrading comments.

#1 Kelly is very toxic and if you approach her when she is having "a bad day" it is a horrible situation.

#2 I have tried to speak to the on-site manager about Security issues but the phrase for ANY issue is "corporate won't allow that".!

#3 A dog park on our property was "promised" 10 months ago.

But "corporate" won't allow it!

#4 I was told that my apartment would be cleaned once a week. Unfortunately, there have been several workers who have left and no one has been hired in those positions. Again "corporate" won't approve more workers. So, to help the remaining workers, I don't ask for anything but towels and toilet paper.

If these last workers leave then the manager will be cleaning my apartment.

#5 Safety is a MAJOR PROBLEM! I personally heard Jerry being beaten and because of that I DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT THE BENTLEY.

I have fallen on numerous occasions because there is not enough lighting at night.

#6 ATRIA HAS NOT KEPT THEIR WORD and their promises have not been kept. Unfortunately, this response won't be read by anyone who cares...

Harassing my mother

Shame on these greedy bastards! My mother receives a statement every month that shows an overdue balance of $3000 that incurs a $100 late fee every month.

Because she has documents the office says she is paid in full and not to worry. She worries, have they ever met a mother? How many other residents do not have the mental faculty to keep records and just keep paying more and more? How is it that there is no litigation against this kind of practice?

Now they are raising her rent from $3000 to $3300... that´s a full 10%. Did her Social Security go up? No.

The landscapers spray bark dust all over and do not clean up in front of her door so she can´t get out. The fountain has been out of service because they will not replace a $50 pump for lack of funds. The food has gone from bad to worse and now she is forced to eat out and goes hungry. She says it is so bad she would rather starve.

Shame on these greedy bastards for raping those who made the US great once. America is no longer a democracy.

It is pure consumerism where the rich delight in causing the poor to suffer without conscious in the name of profit. Shame!
